Direct To Film

DTF (Direct to Film) printing is a modern, versatile apparel decoration method that allows for full-color, highly detailed designs to be applied to virtually any type of fabric. Using this process, designs are printed onto a special film and then heat-pressed onto the garment, creating a durable, vibrant print with excellent stretch and wash resistance.

One of the biggest advantages of DTF printing is its flexibility. Unlike traditional print methods that may require minimum quantities or are limited by fabric type or garment color, DTF works on cotton, polyester, blends, and performance fabrics. This makes it an ideal solution for t-shirts, hoodies, hats, jackets, uniforms, and more—regardless of color or material.

Our shop is fully equipped to handle orders of any size, from single custom pieces to large-scale production runs. Whether you need a one-off design, small batch testing, or bulk apparel for businesses, teams, events, or promotions, we implement the same consistent process to ensure reliable, high-quality results across every item.

DTF printing also allows for quick turnaround times and easy design placement on multiple apparel styles without sacrificing quality. This makes it a cost-effective and efficient option for customers who want professional results without the limitations of traditional printing methods.

With DTF printing, your design stays bold, detailed, and durable—no matter the order size or apparel type.

DTF vs. Screen Printing: What’s the Difference?

DTF (Direct to Film) Printing

DTF printing is a modern, flexible printing method that transfers full-color designs onto garments using heat. It works on nearly any fabric type and garment color, making it an excellent choice for custom apparel of all kinds.

Best for:

Any order size (including single items)

Full-color or highly detailed designs

Multiple garment styles or colors

Fast turnarounds and flexibility

Advantages:

No minimum order quantities

Works on cotton, polyester, blends, and performance fabrics

Ideal for small runs, test prints, and custom orders

Consistent results across different apparel types

Durable, stretchable, and long-lasting prints

Limitations:

Slightly heavier feel than traditional ink

Not always the preferred choice for ultra-soft vintage finishes

Screen Printing

Screen printing is a traditional, time-tested method that pushes ink directly through screens onto the garment. It excels in large-volume orders and produces a soft, breathable print when used for simple designs.

Best for:

Large bulk orders

Simple designs with fewer colors

Consistent garment styles and colors

Advantages:

Cost-effective for high-volume orders

Soft, breathable feel on fabric

Excellent durability for large runs

Ideal for team uniforms and event apparel

Limitations:

Setup costs make small orders less economical

Limited efficiency for multi-color or highly detailed artwork

Less flexible when printing on mixed garment types

Which Should You Choose?
